If you sell and move out of your house, do you have Noreco shut down or transfer to new owner?

New owners can transfer with deed of sale and that nonsense seminar.

If you close the account, the new owner will have to open one in their name, attend the stupid seminar and pay a reconnect fee. If it's just a transfer to the owner, I think the process is a little easier. Either way, make sure you don't get stuck with a bill that you didn't run up. Take a reading yourself just to make sure and record it on your phone. Always nice to be sure you haven't been dudded.
