What is that? Would that be a "very old" unpaid ticket? Was it a ticket issued by the state, county or city police officer? Also, what state/county/city would that have been in? They may have some way to resolve the unpaid ticket online.
Seeking legal advice on line like this is full of problems. I would want to know if the person offering the advice is a lawyer first. My recommendation would be to contact the Embassy, might want to begin with Citizen services.
No idea how that word got in my message..didn’t see it till I posted..sorry. What was meant was there was no judgement on the ticket only a summons and it was 24 years ago in the State if N Carolina..online payment may well be possible..thanks
I think there are going to be some other issues with than just paying the ticket. You best bet is to contact a lawyer in NC.

Statute of limitations only applies if charges were never filed. If he was ordered to show up in court then I don't think that will matter.
Yep, that's what it said when I read the link and that's why I found it an interesting read. I did not specify it in my post because I wanted to see who took the time to read what I was talking about before replying
