Hi folks, and thanks to jackpeterson for pointing out where to post this. I failed this Forums IQ test, because I could not initially find where to put the introduction.:( I am a new boy on the block, just joined. Traveling back and forth between Phil and Aust.

I have met guys in the Philippines who have been there for 30 years who have not "fully adjusted" to the culture. I'm not sure it is possible.

Well I think it is a legitimate word for my daughter in a way. The guys in the office use to say that my son could live on $5,000 USD a year, where as my daughter could live on $5,000 USD a week.... they were not far off.
