Has anyone else tried the new French bakery near octagon bar? Some very nice French baguettes,quich,croissants and a few other pastry products. The baguettes are great with just salted butter on them and the outside is a bit crusty like we get back home where we also have proper bread
The Quiche Lorraine was very good (best I ever had), chicken liver pate was tasty and the apple pastry (pie?) was good. I'll go back to MPS French Bakery again. No croissants a few days ago, but the owner assured me that some would be freshly baked within an hour, if I wanted to wait. Unfortunately I had a schedule to keep and vowed to return another day!
