Welcome Gabriel, l too love to watch birds the feathered type. Not much of a photographer lost interest many years ago.
Not many exotic birds around here, although seen a few olive backed songbirds in the garden and kingfishers flying around.

    Another similarity! (Apologies to you).

In the UK I was a very keen bird-watcher and, as you know, a garden there can be visited by dozens of species in a day. But I found here that it is lucky to see three species a day. I think if it lands it gets eaten. My best spot here was a group of about a dozen frigate birds - when I rented a house on a beach. Also there I saw an Asian grey heron, black-winged stilt, white heron and sunbirds.

Has anyone been into the jungle and spotted anything interesting?

There seems a lack of good identification guides here - unlike the Collin's guides in the UK.

I heard it on the grapevine that a person known by the name of PatO has snapped them up.

(You mean that much to me
You could have told me yourself
    That you loved someone else
Instead I heard it through the grapevine
Not much longer would you be mine
Oh, I heard it through the grapevine
And I'm just about to lose my mind)
