    One and the same BUT is there not a Chinese Company that is Erecting Towers to serve a Certain enough Subscribers, I read somewhere that they lease land from suitable sites. Just a thought here

    "...Local reports suggest that DITO, its general contractor FutureNet, and UIC have agreed a master service agreement under the terms of which the partners are to build 1,500 telco towers and lay over 1,400 kilometres of fibre optic cables in the next two years.

    Having agreed to meet a new technical audit deadline by January 2021, DITO plans to launch as the Philippines’ new third major operator by March 2021..."

    This is good news.

    If they come even reasonably close to their projected timeline, it will be GREAT news.

    If they actually expand quickly beyond the barangays and neighborhoods that PLDT and Globe have already hardwired with copper and optical fiber, it will be AMAZING news.

    But this is the Philippines. They will have full service in place on time to Makati and a few other cities in NCR. Everywhere else? Not so much.
