We just got our bill today and for once it was a pleasant surprise, BUT i have to wonder if it was a mistake as the price since last month has dropped from 14p per kwh to 9, this seems to be a big reduction to happen at one time.
On comparing last month's bill with this one i can see the difference is in the system generation charge which has dropped from 8p to 4.
Has anyone else in the forum noticed this?

We're Noreco I and, as you can see, ours has dropped P6.8/kWh

Apparently it's due to the way they buy the power.

    Happy Days!

You math looks good. My 9 year old granddaughter also agrees with us.

My bill is about 7cm wide and 25 cm long (3" x 10"). It has all the assorted charges listed.

Our power rates are based on about 40% of Noreco II contract price with guys up on the volcano (geothermal) and the balance purchased on the spot market. The spot market price seems to be a bit out of control. The Government in Manila are looking into it.
