I have a CR/OR in mine and wife's name from LTO Bais (not sure why done there as was purchased in Dumaguete). This was obtained by the dealer. So, the vehicle has been registered in this region, but still does not bear the permanent regn plate no. on the CR, just the MV number. I'll be finding out soon as the regn ends in '0', which would normally be October renewal, but extended to 31st December because of some virus thingy.
Bais LTO used to be MUCH easier to deal with. I'll not sure these days but I can't imagine it being any worse than dealing with Dumaguete and I wouldn't be complaining much about having to do business with them.
Just a quick update on my number plates. The dealer in Cebu messaged me this morning to let me know that they had updated my plates with the LTO in Cebu. I went to Dumaguete LTO and they updated my OR and told me I could now put the new plates on the car.
