Jack Peterson, found this in my files. Do you remember or was this before your time there?

Yes, many changes, I was Stationed there in 63 to 68 then again in 83 ( After the Falklands) and was demobbed there in 93, I lived in Gib for 8 years in all and in La Linea ( just across the Border for about 9 years until I retired in 2012, many fond memories

I made 2 trips in and out the Med. where I chartered with my boat in Spain and Yugoslavia so it must have been 4 times ( last time in '75) in Gib mostly to fuel/provision up and ones to collect a new set of sails made in the UK. What I most remember is the old quarter, having the anchor fouled under one of those heavy mooring chains and the best Chinese food with the most impersonal service I ever encountered. Not forgetting the mount of paperwork and signatures for clearing in and out and having a cat on board.
