Out of curiosity: is there a market in Dumaguete for ostrich meat/eggs/feathers? I've never even seen a place that sells it.
If you can eat it, there is a market for it. The price might be a bit steep for Ostrich on a stick though. I think you should buy it for your pet monkey so that he can ride it into town and steal bananas.
you can get meat and eggs in caygun del oro they ship it to me and I go down to the ferry and pick it up . they send it in a styrofoam container and it always came still frozen. they have a big farm there that specilizes in the meat and production of ostrich products. no cholesterol and it really does taste just like beef. but there is no fat and a good steak should have some fat. this meat doesn't. better for me though.
