Does anyone else in the forum get their PLDT internet signal using an antenna ? The reason i ask is that the plan we are on is 30mbps and during the daytime it is usually between 20 and 30 BUT every night for the past few months we are lucky to get 5 and even that drops on and off to zero. We have had the installer come many times to check the antenna and associated equipment and he tells us the equipment is ok and it's PLDT's crap signal to blame and its the same for every user, is this true ? Where we live does not have any fibre cable and PLDT say they can't put one in just for our use and there must be around 10 houses that would use it for it to be worth running in a cable.
We have PLDT fibre but that is inconsistent - want to move to Converge but I have seen no local feedback on their service. Used a company when we lived in Amlan who provided our signal via a rooftop aerial and the signal was supplied by PLDT - had about the same level of inconsistency as we have now.
