If you can try re-booting your router from a pc. I have PLDT and usually works for me. Used to have FilProduct and did the same then. You should be able to access your router via https://192.168.1.1, as most providers use this IP for their routers. That will take you to a login page, which you can access to do various management things, provided you have the login details.
I think the broken cable happened a few days before the Saturday power cut and as i said our slow internet only happened after the power came back on Saturday, i did not think the cable had affected us as our internet comes to a mast in our garden but since Saturday the speed is almost non existant, yesterday and today it's below 1mbps, can just about open email but no streaming possible
Have PLDT solved their problem? I'm still getting slow speeds, before I was getting around 200 Mbps now if I'm lucky about 40 Mbps. I'm on the 300 Mbps plan.
Don't know for certain Jim but think there is still a problem somewhere in their cable feed to Negros as at times the speed drops off at peak periods.
PLDT very erratic at my location, we are supposed to get 30mbps but for the last few days its been below 5, sometimes in the past it can be 50 or even 60. Today its 14
Same here for FilProducts all weekend, intermittent off and on connection and slow speeds. Coupled with no water today...this place is consistently inconsistent.
