Our house in Valencia has been connected to PLDT fiber for over 2 weeks now but no internet, TV or landline, several visits to the shop and always the same answer, a technician will come, today she went again and her ticket for the queue was 100+ :banghead:
    Anybody else experience this ?

Must be that new super-duper-ulta-high-speed internet. The signal is going so fast that it is breaking the laws of physics and time traveling back to a date that you didn't have internet.

It seems you have not been getting the texts from PLDT saying that the DOLE has forced all their contractors to quit working for them. Just wait a while, sir.

I was connected to PLDT Home fibre within 2 weeks, the only drawback is the old-fashioned phones that hang on the walls. 20 Mbps download constantly.

    PLDT defends its service contractors

In the continuing debacle between PLDT and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on the alleged illegal termination of 7,000 contractual workers by the company, the PLDT said that they have engaged with legal service contracting companies.

    ENDO?

It sure sounds like PLDT tried to get around the law but it seems that DOLE is forcing them to pay their wronfully terminated employees 51.6 million pesos.
    Good for DOLE.
Maybe DOLE will go after Robinson, Lee Plaza, et al soon.
