It doesn't matter, if I had a screen in the shower they would just take the hair from the screen and put it down the sink or toilet. Easier for them to snake the shower than the sink or toilet
Well apparently the idiot has not yet posted it to YouTube, much to my surprise. It seems a shotgun to the drain was an original idea as there is absolutely no mention of it on a Google search. I only found one picture of a guy holding a shotgun to a sink. Shame, I would have loved to have seen that. Guess I need to go on Facebook and make some suggestions to my redneck friends in the US on how cool that would be to have on camera. I'll even throw in a case of PBR for recorded evidence.

Acid,water pressure or shotgun won't work. It's an outside floor drain for laundry and rain water. I had a screen over it until my former helper threw it away and I didn't get a new one in time. After looking around, I'm missing a plastic cup just a little smaller than the opening (there are 2-45 degree bends in the line). I can reach it from both ends of the pipe but need more power to hopefully force it out. Digging it up is the last resort, it's under thick concrete and tile.
If they put it down the toilet there shouldn't be a problem as a toilet uses 3" pipe, compared to a sink or showers 1-1/2" that both normally have a trap that the hair eventually gets stuck in. I've resorted to flushing hair down the toilet when a trash can isn't handy with no problems, but I have confidence in what I am doing as I have done quite a bit of plumbing and know what to expect.
Yaaa got it!!!!! It took getting pissed off and determined, but wife still talking and didn't cost me flowers or chocolate. Haa Haa. Standing water gone and scratched up knuckles are the only remaining evidence....
