I thought the president set up something so they cannot price gouge during the emergency. I just got a notice from the american embassy that pal is running sweeper flights from cebu to manila and charging 10,122 pesos for a one way flight. thats excessive to say the least
Would the flight be considered a charter flight or something other than a regular flight? Those tend to be much more expensive for...reasons.
How much for a one way ticket in the USA to fly a thousand kms? $190 may be higher than usual but under unusual circumstances I think its reasonable.

Stated before, but we need the best of both worlds - the isolation of a locked-down small island to reduce our chances of infection BUT the medical facilities of a highly developed country if we do get a serious infection.
