... what is a kind of typical attitude here. If you can't drive directly INTO the restaurant, people don't go there. 5 minutes walk are too much, even it would be a little nice walk after a good meal.

I don't know how many times I saw morons parking their bike directly on the wheel-chair ramp at Casablanca (one of the few wheelchair friendly places here, incl. handicapped-toilet)

We were there once; I don't recall the menu having much Western food. While you cannot just 'add parking', you can have a diverse menu.

Gabby's Bistro seems to be in decline. 2012 reviews on TripAdvisor are not favorable.

Princess and I stopped going to Gabby's about 3 months ago. Used to be there twice a week and the service got SO bad and the food got so it was consistently bad...

There is a quiet restaurant on the rooftop of C and L Suites Hotel on Perdices Street. The prices aren't bad and the menu has a decent variety. There is agood view towards the mountains but no aircon since it is outdoors, of course. I think they still have acoustics on Friday evenings.

I think the best place with the best food, most reliable in terms of cleanliness and quiet is Lab-as. Tables are already set and it is so peaceful and quiet while you enjoy the good food as well. It is overlooking the sea so the ambiance is ultra romantic. I advice that you don't need to think twice. It is located along Piapi beach, next to Orientwind.
