    Wow, friday 8/25, today's rainfall was 2.0 inches, i think yesterday was about .6" (or was that wednesday ?? <grin>

    We had nowt in bacong,i could see the huge black clouds slightly north of here though.

    (as of 10:30 pm) Today near the airport is over 5" and still raining pretty hard.. Plan driving accordingly, any bridges gone ???

    In bacong since 4.30pm when the elec came back on we have had as you say 5 inches,we were up to 38mm before elec went off and reckon must have had atleast 25mm in the 2 hrs it was off. So a total of around 188mm and still raining hard.
    The last time it was like this was jan 16th with 183mm

    No measurements of my own, but saw a weatherwebsite that predicted another 170 mm for all of tomorrow. After that it should slowly get better.
    I suspect that both "underpasses" accessible from Jose Romero road are closed by now, would expect those to remain closed at least until the day after tomorrow, so traffic on the bridges across the Banica river will be a mess tomorrow.

    highway between Banilad/Bacong boundary is cut off, had to go to Valencia and back down to Bacong proper to get home.
