What is Australian/Italian Cheddar? I thought Cheddar could only come from that place in UK....a bit like Parmigiano Reggiano etc.

Nah, With Cheddar it is much like with Dutch Gouda and Edam cheese, the name, recipe and origin aren't protected outside the EU and UK so marketing departments of big cheese factories everywhere on the planet use a similar recipe to produce their own brand of "Cheddar", "Gouda" or "Edam".
I wouldn't wager any money on the "Dutch Girl Gouda" being a product of the Netherlands either. It's just a selling gimmick I think.
