I see some activity on the ship that half-sank at the mouth of the Banica river during Typhoon Sendong..
Are they finally going to raise it ?? It's a little late,9 months.... Anyone got any info ??? Miguel

They have people living aboard for security purposes, but no efforts have been made to raise it. Supposedly they are waiting to get paid by the insurance company. If that story is correct, they could be waiting a very loooooong time!

They should just float it, and tow it out further to be used as a reef. In 20 or so years it will be a good dive site! :D

I was wondering why someone didn't buy that heap of crap and salvage the metal from it. It is probably worthless sitting in the seawater for that long now.

There is more than just a little activity.. There is a ship and a crane already in place with cable to bow of wreck,so, they are either cuting it up or trying to re float it..

The cable from the bow has been there quite a while. It could be going to an anchor to help stabilize it?

You could make yourself a Titanic style home movie with that ship as a background..

Nothing that a few haversacks of C4 couldn't cure...

My understanding is that's the boat that Shadow and the group was using today for dolphin watching in Bais! :-)

The ship is definitely being dismantled. I am in the blvd now and there isn't much left of it. Everything above the deck seems to be gone.
