Indian trees, we planted some in our garden 2 years ago. they are about 8 feet tall, take about 10 to 20 years to reach a decent hight.
the "fan palm" is called travellers tree here. sometimes available at the road to Valencia, but quite a little bit expensive, I bought mine for 1000 pesos with a height of about 1 meter. It takes long time to grow high, but it's a real eye-catcher for a property. I have some fast growing bushes / small trees with yellow and violet blossoms for sale, you can txt me if interested.
Also, there's the Umbrella tree....... Philippine Native Forest Trees: Talisai or Indian Almond or Umbrella ...
Also called a "travelers palm" although not really a palm tree. Ask around in Valencia and you might find one.
ALWAYS wondered WHAT THAT Tree was! The first time I ever seen them was here in Negros and they are EVERYWHERE! Weirdest looking Tree ever asides from a Boab (Bottle) Tree! I have seen them cut down shorter, but they just don't look right, but they would make a PERFECT Filipino Christmas Tree!
PM me with your phone number and I will shoot you a text to see is we can work out a time to see what you have for bushes. I really like the way the fan tree looks. I definitely need one that is a minimum of a meter tall; our dogs wreck havoc on plants right now...which is why every flower garden has cyclone wire around them. Shawn
From memory mate those Fan Palms also hold water at the bases of their branches so you may wish to spray with something to avoid Mosquito traps in the garden...
Thanks for everyone who suggested checking Valencia for the shrubs. The plaza had tons of plants; got the shrubs I was looking for as well as the "fan tree" and the wife also picked up some more flowers and plants for her flower gardens as well as a few I did not know I wanted until I saw them. Prices were decent plus we spent another 1000 pesos to get everything delivered to Tanjay tomorrow...we did buy quite a number of plants/flowers/trees so money well spent. Thanks again! Shawn
