    I've known about "sister cities" for some time but have always wondered how two cities that seem to have nothing in common and are so far apart decide on coming to this agreement.

    Also, why are boats, cars, motorcycles, cities usually referred to as feminine?

    If I had a '67 Corvette with a 427 - 430 HP, no f'n way would I name it Suzy, maybe Tyrone or Bubba!

    Interesting point. It would be more personified if they were known as "spousal cities" as they are so far apart and one of them is always trying to screw the other.

    And then you will have the problems of the spousal cities trying to decide who is going to be labeled "mentally incompetent" for an annulment when they figure out there is no such thing as divorce in the Philippines.

    Odd really, whilst many Countries are Beginning / Continue Twinning as it is sometimes called and has been Happening Since WW2 the UK has started to Untwin, maybe they have been reading the threads and posts here. :p
