Food & Grocery Best Posts in Thread: Smoked Meat

New place in town for smoked pork and beef... Smoke House on the south road across the street from U Wash and on the same side as the Patron station about half a click south of Gie Gie"s. I have been twice and purchased smoked belly (bacon) and pork and beef sausage and now smoked beef (from Australia) all were very good and prices seem reasonable.

 

I had passed that place several times on my way farm and one day on the way back had the cravings for a real bbq sandwich around lunchtime. Was disappointed to find they don't serve sandwiches.

Talking about Bacon, the best I have found is King brand original. In my estimation tastes as good as the best US bacon. I am almost 77 and nitrates and msg haven't killed me yet....hahaha

 

Been there many time and i can only recommend it!
The owner is Polish and very friendly and his products are actually very good and not so pricey.
The smoke ham and his sausages are my favorite.
