Addendum to my post about edema in the feet and legs. What I said about drinking the Guyabana tea is correct but as I stated I have not heard of using the Guyabana leaves on the feet. I asked my gf about this and she said that the leaves that are applied to the feet are different and called Tuba Tuba leaves. She said that you take the leaves and heat them on the fire and then rub them and apply to the feet to take the swelling out. I have not tried this but she gives it the Filipina guarantee. She said you also have to have your gf/wife massage your feet. Hope this helps.

My feet swell with the heat now so my gym/walking shoes felt too small and tight. My problem is my shoe size is 10 1/2. Big problem here, no half sizes in town. So I have been squeezing into a size 10 as size 11 too big. Can't squeeze any longer so I bought a pair of size 11. Seemed easier to walk today so will alternate the big and the small when the swelling goes down.
Not the biggest problem I have but food for thought for those moving here.

Biggest problem I see is newcomers, Look G & G's you have to live the life before you really know what to expect. It affects us all in different ways, some years ago I had itchy Feet ( not the 7 year itch) but found a way round it. Sometimes it is a silly thing that sorts it out but sooo many people go to Meds, we have to Remember what Meds we are taking and the side effects. Look at what is on your feet, is it what you should be wearing? Pat O's words are so important:sorry:

It could be a developing kidney problem. See a Dr to get the slip for lab so the lab can check your creatinine-which should be less than 1.5 or so

Correct, I have Kidney/ Liver/ Heart problems which I found by reading up on swollen feet, ALL contribute in some way to my problem...
Your organ health is also a contributing factor!

So are you suggesting that if my organ is swollen my feet will get that way too. Well that explains it, the op is just visiting for a few months and his organ is probably swollen.:biggrin::biggrin:
