Thai spices?

    Im looking for spice packet to make Tom Ka Gai (Thai coconut
    lemongrass soup)...been to Robinsons and Super Lee with no result.

    I looked at the fruit/vegie market as well for Galanga buy didn't see any.

    Any suggestions?

    I substitute galangal for ginger and then just add a bit of sugar to compensate. Lemongrass is being sold in Valencia markets. I bought my own plant in the Daro markets so I don’t have to keep buying.

    There is a selection of thai spices and pastes in hyper and the end of isle nearest the freezers.

    Same like in Lee Plaza, right opposite the freezers you find a good choice of Thai / asian spices and spice mixes
