    anyone know if the immigration office in Dumaguete is open now during the quarantine?

    I was there yesterday...ITS CLOSED sign says until April 12th, but possible it might be later than that, my passport is there (was to pick up yesterday), so until office opens no passport for me

    Pretty sure that "expiration dates" have been waived until 30 days after ECQ lifted. Not sure if it's ECQ related or some other date, but I read this somewhere, you might research this on the BofI site. ...

    I don't know if this is true - perhaps someone on the Forum knows:

    I read of a man arrested (he was a foreigner, but you may have guessed that by now as it has 99% probability :smile: ) and later he was released having been found innocent. In the meantime his Visa expired - and they charged him with over-staying.

    Hope this is untrue OR they have more (common) sense this time.

    Heres one for you.....My 3 year Tourist Visa expires in July...No Planes to get out... Can't come back in...(All outsiders barred from entering as of now)....So might just have to let it expire and go with the flow ???
