Just settling in off Valencia Rd. in a nice Apartment. I need a 28-Day stay somewhere for TV withdrawal. I'm a videophile and I've given up. Turn on TV at 9:15 and have no idea what's on, what the movie is that they are in the middle of, and no channel with a TV guide that tells you. It's 2016. This is the 3rd world but C'MON!!! Really? Anyone aware of a "service" or a consultant...possible free lancer that can set me up with KODI or SLING...or any way of taking a peek at Netflix again, Showtime/HBO and American Sports?? I'm dying over here. e-mail me or yell loud or something,,, Thank you, woodenships11@yahoo.com
HDMI cable + laptop + Netflix or Iflix membership + TV with HDMI plug in. Plug all together and play.
So hee's where it gets hinky I THINK. Have a Mac Book?? Problem already right?? That was like Chinese to me. Netflix would definitely be an improvement. I might know what's on right?? LOL. This is a disaster.
Try CDR KING. If the item is not in stock, you can pay a deposit and they can get it from Manila. Alternatively you can try Lazada or the Istore in Robinsons. Take your Macbook with you to ensure they give you the correct cable.
Thank you for the time. I just got back from the Mall here in Dumaguete and went to a couple of widget stores upstairs asking HDMI adapters and they just smiled and said they don't have those. So I guess CDR King is the ticket or Lazada or Istore in Robinson's. All at the mall I'm guessing. I'll try. Thanks again.
I don't make up the names they call stuff. To get HD video from a type "c" port they call it type c out as an abbreviation. It's usually a little dongle 6-8 inches long with a female HDMI end so you get the appropriate length HDMI cable. If you need a long HDMI cable, you will have reached the next hurdle. I would be searching for that concurrently if you need a long cable.
More proof you aren't in Kansas anymore. Don't get too frustrated if you can't find what you are looking for, they aren't picking on you. I spent a couple weeks in January looking for a standard HDMI cable before giving up. Luckily I had already planned on Chinese New Year in Hong Kong so picked one up while I was there.
