I have Visa Switzerland. They have an app where I can confirm a payment. No need a new SIM, just an internet connection. Maybe Barclays has the same. Other solution: A lot of companies in the internet accept Paypal. So you register your credit card and you make the payment then you log in at Paypal and confirm the payment. Suggestion. Remove the SIM from the credit card SIM holder, make sure you retain it in the Mirco or Nano holder, just choose the larger if you dont know what your phone has, get a friend to activate it in AU before shipping, as Dutchie said, it wont connect to the roaming network without being activated. Place the Mirco SIM in a book or document and courier book/document with UPS from AU to DGT, dont declare anything. UPS is quicker and cheaper than DHL from experience and they have drop depots in major cities in Aussie. Every single Cell booster and RF ID used in the country has not gone through the appropriate NTC certification for importation and they actually interfere with the local network, a SIM card does not. Also AU banks can sometimes send OTP to PH numbers, I recently activated this with NAB Australia for One Time Pins for online credit card transactions and it works perfectly. I set all this up over the phone after Telstra changed pre-paid plans and cancelled roaming. Just need to call and switch it back when in AU.
Its O2, not in DGT but PH local stock, probably take 3 days to get here. https://britboxphilippines.com/product/uk-o2-sim-card-pay-as-you-go/
I only use 1P - Not sure if entirely relevant but, These are the best two from the UK IMO. https://www.1pmobile.com/index.taf? https://www.mytello.com/en_GB Do your own research as past calls are not a reflection of future calls.
