I had a similar issue with them some time ago when they were on the boulevard. When I complained the guy then removed the out of date items from the freezer. After leaving I decided to pop back in an hour later and the "removed" items were back in the freezer - haven't used the place since.
UPDATE- last week i went there again and they have solved the out of date goods problem by making all the labels hand written with only what the item is and price. I thought i would risk it and bought a US sirloin steak, cooked it on the BBQ to medium and to my horror i could hardly cut it with a steak knife let alone chew it. It was a good day for our dogs.
I'm afraid that it's not just in Philippines were this happens and I think it is a deliberate ploy to mislead people. Even my favourite stores in UK, have sadly started to use similar "sales technique " eg; Soap powder= big box less powder, pack of four tinned beans costs more than buying separately Deliberately not pricing goods so you will buy them at the till anyway.
