Most places here use cream dory fish which for me just doesn,t cut it, that was my purpose for asking.
The fish is definitely not cream dory. I don't know one fish from the other but the fish at Zaks is a dryish, firm white fish. Not bad.
You can get fish and chips at NASPRI in Valencia downtown and it is a creamed Dory but not too bad. My wife likes it but I like a firm fish. I am within walking distance of Zaks and will definitely try it when we return to Negros O in a few days. I think it is great for the expat community to have these entrepreneurs take a chance and open up giving us new options. Kudos to them! Salamat Zak’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There isn't actually a fish species 'Creamy Dory', 'Creamy Dory' is the fillet of the Pangasius Catfish. Apparently the reason for the change of name to Creamy Dory is because many people don't like to know they are eating catfish.
Being from the Southern US (NC), we are PROUD to be eating catfish. I don’t know what y’all are talking about, not likin catfish haha. That “creamy” fish sounds like yankee food! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
