We have always made our own tartar sauce from Mayo and sweet pickle relish, both avail many places in Duma... we usually skip the onion.. Like Russian Dressing is mayo and ketchup, can't tell the difference. 1 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish 1 tablespoon minced onion 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
Sweet pickle relish is a great substitute and I've used it. Mayo and ketchup is more or less the same as Marie Rose sauce we drowned prawn cocktails in, back in the 70's.
I and my gf visited Zacks place yesterday, I get battered prawns and gf homemade burger both dishes comes with french fries, delicious food we will come back. Only downside, noise from the highway, there are other places with good food where traffic noise is a problem IMHO, then I bring the food at home if it's near my place, but too far away the food gets cold. Good luck with your new business to the owners
Yes indeed it's a very good point. I'm not going to go on about the ridiculous driving, motorcycles without baffles in their exhausts because they think it's cool. They don't realise how idiotic they are as it is detrimental to the bike's performance, etc. I will say that we're in the process of doing something about it. All being well we are moving to the back corner, on the same side. Hopefully get a bar fitted to the back of the vehicle. We'll have decent furniture and protection from any overspray from the car wash and cover from the sun and rain.. It's all down to finances but traffic noise and barking dogs are the bane of my life.
I wish you the best of British in the changes you propose Russel and Jessie they will be great. Having eaten there I highly recommend your food...delicious. We will be back for more!
Good luck Jessie and Russell..Now about loud engines and barking dogs,,you should try living where I live...LOL
