    I am sure it is not just me. I can't understand the way that Smart Bro through, PLDT charge for their sevices

    On one hand, my on line invoice tells me I owe 2 months yet, when we go to pay this, I can only pay 1 month as the 2nd months invoice is not due and there is no reference number for the 2nd month. SO! my cut off date each month is the 10th, Payable at the end of that month, after the 10th I owe another month, I have till the end of that month to pay, but when we go to pay, ha ha:eek:, we don't owe anything. now if we do not pay the bill we don't owe, they restrict our usage. so we go and try to pay OH! yes we now owe 2 months, eeeeer why? Yesterday we did not owe anything, NOW we owe 2 months , WHY?O-| oh well, we have had a problem delivering the Statements. So how can we pay, if we don't have a Bill, mmmmmm just call in and pay anyway. BUT BUT you said we don't owe anything. Well you did not Yesterday

    So Yesterday, we owed Nothing. Now Today, we owe 2 months. Yes sir, you did not pay last month. eeeeerr oh dear, so what is this OR for, ah! Yes but we have had a problem with the accounting programme.:mad: So What do I owe now, Nothing Sir, mmmm yet on screen I owe 2 moths and the 10th looms, if you pay this month it will be OK.

    Sound confusing?? Try being with me when I go Robinsons to pay. It gets good, especially, as they tell me to use the online service and YET They restrict the service, due to non Payment of a Bill, apparently, I don't owe

    Is it just me. My Wife (a CPA) falls about laughing at them, Noreco's accounts are bad enough but Smart through PLDT are the Pits.

    To cap it all, we were off line for 5 days (Guess why??)


    OK! OK! I know it is Sunday But I just got my connection back and I am at home alone. enough you all say:rolleyes:

    I will close the door on my way out. I will post again when I can think of something less confusing. maybe the Shot in the head has disturbed me more than I thought:p

    You are not alone. Our MyBro bill always comes pretty early in the month, and it is always due on the 30th of the MONTH BEFORE! So we just got the bill on Friday May 2nd and it was due April 30th. Like you, we have tried to go into the office at Robinson's to pay early and have been told to wait for the bill.

    There's more: Our MyBro modem broke down and it was a horrendous nightmare trying to get someone to come out and replace it. Tried taking it to the office but they do not fix them there, someone has to come out. But first they stall you on the phone and in person for 9 DAYS and then when the guy shows up he tells us there are lots of modems with the same problem. He figures it must be a faulty batch.

    And there's more: We tried over the phone and in person to get a credit for the 9 days the Internet was out and everyone said Oh yeah, you can do that. But when the bill comes there is no credit so once again we must head to the PLDT/MyBro office in Robinsons to get the credit sorted out.

    Its definitely more fun here.

    Same stories here... I am OVER SmartBro. My two-year contract was finished in March, so I have been looking at alternatives. But I am hearing horror stories about Globe, and PLDT is apparently not all it's cracked up to be....

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :smile:

    I have globe 3mb with land line un limited calls to globe mobile and land line costs 1600 per month BUT they try every month to slip in some extra costs like charging for calls to globe.
    Now the problem starts I go to globe in Robinsons I stand at the bottom of escalator and try to be first but im to slow and have ticket 5 to 10 ppl in front of me so with only one working costumer service I wait maybe an hour, then wait again to pay the adjusted account
    I asked to be registered to pay on line only to be told I can not pay it with a DEBIT card only ,credit card or I could credit on my cel phone this way globe make extra money on the deal.
    their is a conversation on ANC now and the man being interviewed said that the philippines that we were 7th most expensive in asia and the last in internet speed .
    So we have to suck it up and remind ourselves ITS MORE FUN IN TH PHILIPPINES;

    When you up to your @ss in crocodile its hard to remind ones self that the initial objective was to drain the swamp
