I took my 7" tablet into a very small computer repair shop that was perhaps 2 blocks north of Kangs on the main road (going towards Sibulan). Of course I cannot remember the name of the shop but they fixed it for 500 pesos. No guarantee they can fix yours also but at least I know they will take a look at it.

    Hi!

If you want to save time and money, you might want to try a factory reset. I did this a few times and works fine. Most brands and models are reset the same way.

Warning: This procedure will wipe all data and any apps you have installed. Remove the micro sd card if any before you start, just in case.

    Tablet Factory Reset

    Procedure:

    1. Unplug the power cord
    2. Turn off the tablet
    3. Press and hold the "volume up" and the "power" button at the same time until the tablet will turn on
    4. When the start up screen appears or Android starts to flash, release the buttons
    5. Navigate using the "volume up and down" button
    6. Press "power" button to select
    7. Choose "wipe data/factory reset"
    8. Select "yes"
    9. Wait until the system finishes reseting
    10. Do not interrupt while formatting
    11. Wait for the Android system recovery menu to come up
    12. Select "reboot system now"

    Regards,
    Yolly

I would try a few things before a factory reset if you were wanting to keep the data. (of course this is why you should do regular backups.)

Unfortunately some of these things simply can't be explained and shouldn't even be tried unless you know what you are doing. Take it to a shop if you are interested in keeping the data. They might be able to save your data prior to wiping and flashing. If not you can try the factory reset as mentioned above, not much chance of doing any harm from that. (I would attempt to wipe the cache and dalviche and do a reset first from the same menu though.)

First, thanks "Doc" to give away information that just saved me 500 bucks, I did the factory reset, I did have no data worth mentioning,
we use the tablet for gaming and Skype, for the other stuff I use my old trusted PC...
For the ones that have a similar problem, this seems the easiest way, when you can not get to your apps or data you are left with not much choice...
