Bohol is the first income class island which is located in the central Visayas region. Its capital is Tagbilaran city. It is the 10th largest island in the country. Bohol is popular with its beaches and resorts. The chocolate hills and the island of Panglao are the finest beaches in the country. The climate of the Bohol is dry between the month of June and October.
I thought Coco Beach Resort in Siquijor had the finest 800sq meters of white sand beach in the country. You sir, write like a poorly programmed spam bot.
Doljo Beach, on Panglao Island on Bohol has fine white sand beaches, as does Alona Beach---the tourist beach. Unfortunately, the beaches onPanglao are not "manacured" as they are at many resorts, Coco Beach included. The Bellview Hotel, a new 300 bed hotel on part Doljo Beach rakes and manacures its beach every morning, creating a gorgeous ( albiet, unnatural) beach area for it's high-paying guests! While I love going to the Coral Cay Resort on Siquijor, for beach beauty and lots of it, my vote is Panglao Island on Bohol. PM me if you like for further info and specific places. I split my time between Panglao and Dgte.
Jim, I agree that if you stay on Alona Beach at one of the resort there it can be expensive; however, there are so many other resorts/beaches on Panglao island ranging from fully furnished 3 year old 1 bdrm apts at 800p a nite to the hideously expensive Eskaya Resort. If one looks about a bit or uses Agoda travel to book, you can find many resorts that are equal or less in price to that which you find on Siquijor, including Panglao's excellent beaches. I split my time 50/50 between Panglao and Dumaguete, so if i can be a resource for you, please PM me. Cheers!
