Does it list some of the Global warning predictions? Does it list Al Gore's prediction that he would control the exchange of credits in the Global warming world?
I clearly remember the dire predictions of a NEW ICE AGE (Don’t Miss it! Climate Depot’s Factsheet on 1970s Coming ‘Ice Age’ Claims | Climate Depot), by many of the same frauds pimping for global warming today. The game is all about funding, grants and CONTROL(in the case of govts). Dave is absolutely correct in his comment about 'I invented the internet" Al Gore. He has made MILLIONS being and would stand to make so much more if cap & trade had been implimented. Follow the money---ALWAYS!
Well I read while Gillard was still PM here in Oz that the Labour Party had passed quietly in Parliament a Law allowing them to access Trillions in Superannuation Accounts where in place of being able to retire, roll over and take a partial amount of your own money (what little is left after all the fees and charges etc) they will graciously take all of your Super and hand you an Old Age Pension. The footnote to that online Story on one of the Political Pages was for those who thought they may vote Liberal to get around that, they too also had passed an act in Parliament under a different name doing exactly the same thing as Labour had done, meaning under each or either; from a certain cut off date (which I now believe is 1958) those before will keep their Super and those after will lose their Super in place of the Old Age Pension, so no roll overs, no holidays, forget all your plans of what you had planned to do with YOUR money... The reason for this? The guy who wrote the story claimed that the Government/s had been itching to get their hands on the Trillions of Dollars tucked away, so under the guise of fighting/reversing Global Warming, some genius thought up the new act enabling them to take your Retirement money to fight the biggest furphy since the Bible was written... Sorry; but I was heavily involved with fighting the introduction of Unleaded Petrol back in the early 80's and reports then put the 80's down to being much, much cleaner then the previous century when Industry was Coal Powered, everyone cooked using a Fire and the methane levels were thru the roof due to the amount of livestock at the time. On a Pollution aspect they argued that Unleaded Fuel would enter the atmosphere easier because Leaded Fuels hung low when the pollution was at its highest, the effects were devastating in other countries with the rise of Leukemia and other Cancers, countries who had already introduced it warned Australia NOT to introduce it... The almighty Dollar wins every argument when it comes to dealing with brainless Puppets who are suppose to represent the People instead of the Multi-Billion Dollar Companies who buy them at every turn. Going through History, the Antarctic was once Tropical and the worst Ice Age was in the Equator. Australia was once below Sea level, was once covered in lush Tropical Rain Forests, was once covered in Glaciers, the Earth is continually evolving as we continue to adapt, so tell me again; "How will this Government reverse the effects of Global Warming?" I am going back to my corner to tend to my Torrent downloads now as I am sure I will not know what a Torrent is once I move to Negros... ^_^ lol Cheers...
From the link, probably the most important comment... Quoth Exapno Mapcase: "People saw technology change their world far more radically from 1880-1930 than in all the years since. They went from horses and dirt roads to electricity and airplanes. Why shouldn't they expect the trend to continue?" Cronos: "The problem is that the trend did continue. People don't understand exponential growth. Yes, those fifty years saw more change than all of the years before them... but the same can be said of any fifty year period in history. But futurists extrapolated out linearly, assuming the same rate of technological growth, instead of an exponentially-increasing rate, and so their predictions fell ludicrously short of the actuality." The same is true for population growth...(or almost)
