Dave, it was a plane owned by a Spanish company but operated by Air Algeria. Is was headed for Algiers, but (according Solar News this evening) was diverted from it's original route because of a storm. Allegedly it flew over another rebel-infested area, so it's not unlikely that we are witnessing a copy-cat here, sad as it is.... Vicmico
