Having had zero success in finding any local craftsman to talk to about wood carving or hire. Im left to try it on my own. Just asking if there is any one with interest in wood carving or has information or experience they might share. Im most interested in small objects/characters. I got a bug in my butt to have made or make my own design of tap handles to go on beer taps. Representive of my beer names/styles. I doubt if at this stage of my life Id get to turning that into any enterprise..lol :dnr:

Have a look at jb woodcrafts, they make some nice stuff and not expensive. They have a fb page with pics.
