Pat, I for one can admire your forthrightness on this but it still remains, that somewhere amongst us, is, a member that will stoop very low, to try and implicate another member. Muddyfeet was, implicated and as I have shown, it can be done. to show that anyone chosen, can be made to look the stooge. How Sad but they will surface. View attachment 11259

 

He was not writing his own crap, he (or whoever his source was) was just compiling crap from several posts made by different people, copy/pasting it together, and attributing it to the wrong posters. I likely have not have seen it all yet, I know I got two completely different fliers from two different people, so who knows how many may be out there...

Quite frankly I find this all beneath Kojak, I don't want to believe he orchestrated this, but then he WAS passing this stuff out at the mall. I would love for him to come here now and help us straighten this out, instead of us having to wait until next week's Chronicle or having one of us pick up a copy of something else at the mall.

Hold your horses for a moment

I was , as we all know, up to my neck in this , and if my contribution in this matter has caused ill and grief to the forum and it's owners , I apologise , and from recollection my comments were more derogatory than any of the other posters , my last post on the thread was an apology , regardless of that , if any heads have to roll , it should be mine, and I will await the decision.

 

Kojak handed me a flyer in Robinsons it was a copy of a post i had read on D I the day before my name was on it as I hit LIKE on PAT0 post, rang pato and told him I had a copy , it did have some comment under pat0,s post but I did not take a lot of notice of it Their was a copy of the original article on facebook started by hulagway ug kasikas sa dumaguete and a guy name Mindanao Bob .This had many comments from pinoys n expats ,after reading most I couldsee that this article did not help the expats living in dumaguete . I hope it all goes away. cheers

Ironically, Tony, your name was never mentioned either. The only two implicated in the fliers I saw were Broadside and Muddyfeet. While Broadside certainly was not completely innocent, Muddyfeet WAS completely innocent and he got butchered and hung out to dry, and accused of making other people's posts. In fact, muddy is so good it it he was doing two for the price of one!

Well with that being the case , this is anything but a cut and dried 'he said , she said' , but the whole fiasco would appear to derive solely from interpersonal grievances . We know the shooter but who was the benedict hiding in the grassy knoll. I hope they are just as pleased as punch with themselves for the circumstances that they have caused others to deal with , their behaviour/conduct is quite pitiful to my mind,

 

So the Barrio is open again? This thread seems to be in the 'Expat Section' but not specifically the Barrio.

I hope that people who read this forum understand that things can be taken out of context or even edited OR the poster could be having a bad day. Making a federal case out of anything posted on this forum is simply stupid, IMHO. Do we have an ignore feature if someone is posting things that another member does not like?

 

I think it is safe to say that something was definitely edited AND taken out of context. Probably someone will be having a bad day soon, hopefully it's not me, I've already had my share.

I don't understand why this subject has been reopened? I thought last week there was an understanding to move forward? So now that we have said our mea culpa's can we put this behind us or will this continue to fester?
