Ohhh and to think I was not going to respond in this thread BUT THEM'S FIGHTIN' WORDS RIGHT THERE! O--O Don't get me started on proper English mate! Sorry this one I could not ignore! hehe
For me this Forum has been partially a Godsend! Without it I would have NO CLUE what to expect, I am slowly learning as I go and will be back later this year, and when it comes time to apply for my 13A Visa amongst other things, I expect I will need to source information here from Members, and in time be able to share information in return for new Members. However; the reasons I am moving there might be different to others meaning I am not so much one for socialising in real life, but I do have REAL friends online, so I do not expect that to change, and that means most interaction will be done via a Keyboard sitting in front of a Screen, I see nothing wrong with that...
hmmmm not a bowel of Contention but........! Unfortunately this is not correct. SPELT is the first person Singular, ie; she, spelt it right. also can be present tense, ie; It can be Spelt this way. SPELLED is the second person plural ie; they, Spelled it Wrong. Also can be used as past tense. ie; During the writing, of the report, various words had been Spelled incorrectly. This is one of the words, that can can cause a lot of headaches, even for Academics. :p Always happy to help!! Maybe an English Grammar thread would be Good?? JP
