Must say that last night,7;30-9 pm ,was by far the best light show (lightning) I have ever seen..It was directly over Apo island (due south)..Good thing I was able "enhance' the moment....also with a little Pink Floyd..Wish I had a camera to capture this fantastic display...Miguel

That was a pretty cool storm last night, sat on the balcony and watched it for ages.

Brilliant, but the Following Thunder claps, were more like the 1812, where we are. The Dogs Not impressed. So not a too restful night, other than this yes! Brilliant and we needed the rain!

I was thinking the same thing, wanted to go out into the treehouse to catch the bolts, which were RIGHT in front of my little house here....the boyfriend wouldn't let me stay outside though. :(
Woke up about a half hour later when that CRAZY thunder boom woke me up and I almost took a layer of skin off the sleeping boyfriend lol

A cow in the field next to us also died during the night, but not due to lightning....a coconut hit him square on the noggin!

Quite a powerful wind blast accompanied the lightening, thunder and rain. My little weather station here in south Dauin recorded a gust of 64 kph (40 mph) at ll pm.
