I will be driving to the Sibulan port to catch fast craft to Cebu. In the past, I never had to worry about my car, as I had a driver. I no longer have my driver and am faced with the probability I will need to leave my car in the parking area there for a few days. Anyone have any experience? Is it safe to leave my car there?

leave it in the parking area of the sibulan church... much safer. You just have to walk 5 mins to the port

    Home is best

I would not want to leave my car, in Any place frequented by Joe Public. 1 day mmmm, 2/3 days a big NO!

Leave it at home under Lock and Key, maybe get a trusted neighbour to look out for it.
THEN! Get a ride either from a friend or Public transport to the port. Why take chances?

Was going to my suggestion, but I've not been to the Port in Sibulan.

Public transport is impossible that time of morning where I live and I don't know anyone who would be willing to get up that early to drive me. I might be able to give some car keys to someone to go pick it up later in the day. That might work.

We have left our vehicle in front of the church numerous times, sometimes for a few days at a time. It is noteworthy that this puts your car directly across the street from the Sibulan PNP.

    Your mileage may vary.

A friend in need, is a Friend indeed, or are they?

If it is a Local, you will leave the keys with, I would hazard a guess, 500p may entice them to get up early to take you. a small price to pay for peace of mind. If it is a friend, that will not get up, I would start looking for new friends. I mean, this is not an everyday occurrence is it. What are Friends for?

OR, if you have a spare set of keys, perhaps a friend would come pick it up later in the day for you and then drop it back there just before you are getting back?

If you want, you can leave your car safely at my house in Sibulan and I will arrange a pedicab to the pier.
