I recently quit caffeine cold turkey. I was drinking 5 red bulls or more a day, plus a couple mugs of coffee (Yeah, I had a problem). I've been a bit grouchy the past week. First laugh I've had in a while. (but I have to admit I jumped off the band wagon this morning and had a Monster)

Hi Kasikas, would you consider posting this?

I’m Mark Cohen, a Person with a Disability, living in Dumaguete. I’m 63 years old. I love it here. I have nothing bad to say about Dumaguete, and never have said anything bad about Dumaguete.
    My cell phone number is 0 9179 611 134
    My email is mcohen.iiadt@gmail.com
I’ve received numerous messages via email and on Facebook saying that my head should be bashed in again in the same way that the security guards at Lee SuperPlaza bashed my head into the cement 2 days ago, when as a result I ended up in the hospital with a concussion and blood coming from my head. The photo on Facebook that was taken yesterday with Doctor Voltaire Alojado, when the management of Lee SuperPlaza brought me to Medical Centre Hospital for a CT scan of my brain. Before two days ago I hadn’t had an epileptic seizure in 22 months. Since the Lee SuperPlaza incident I’ve had 4 seizures in 2 days.
My personal doctor and friend is Steven E. Locke, M.D., an associate professor at Harvard University (slockemd@verizon.net). Here is his message to me, sent to me this morning:
    ------------------------
    Mark,
Sounds terrible. Give my cell phone number to your doctor and have him call me. I need him to explain your medical condition to me. The only thing I can do from this distance is to talk with your doctor.
    Hope you are recovering.
    Steve

    ---------------------
I’ve received phone calls (that I recorded) demanding that I leave the country, that it will arranged that I will have to leave the country, and that Happy doesn’t deserve to be with me and they will take him away from me. The same messages are on Facebook and in my email messages. I’m sure that you’ve seen them. When I was in the Holy Child Hospital at 3:15 AM today after suffering a seizure, someone came to the ER at the hospital claiming that he was a Judge, saying that I should leave the country, and that I was a disgrace to my country, Canada (also recorded).
I have been teaching Assistance Dog training and promoting anti-discrimination and rights of access to public places and all modes of transportation for Persons with a Disability for more than 30 years. In no country was I ever assaulted. During the past 10 years I have visited 17 countries with Happy, always at my side in the cabin of the airplane wherever I traveled. I lived in Ecuador for 4 years at the request and invitation of the vice-president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, who is in a wheelchair and became a student and a friend. Call or email him and say that Happy says hello. I’ve started 7 institutes for the training of Assistance Dogs for Persons with a Disability in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Israel, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile. Call or email any veterinarian in any city of any of those countries. They have all heard of me. Call or email them and say that Happy says hello.
I was a consultant for General Borbon, the head of the Air Force of Colombia, for their service dog training program. He also has 2 of the 31 Golden Retriever puppies that I had on my farm in Rionegro. Call or email him and say that Happy says hello. I consulted for the National Police canine squad in Medellin, Colombia. Call or email them and say that Happy says hello. I consulted in Concepcion, Chile for the “Policia de Investigacion (PDI)” which is the equivalent of the FBI of the United States, for their service dog training program. Call or email them and say that Happy says hello.
The national TV station of Nicaragua, which by the way is the second poorest country in the world, ran two 30 minute documents on the projects I was implementing there. Call or email them and say that Happy says hello. By the way, in Nicaragua, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia, if you’re driving a motorcycle without a helmet the Police impound your motorcycle. If the lights on your car or your motorcycle don’t work, The Police impound your car or motorcycle. If you don’t respect pedestrian crossings (those white lines at most corners of most streets) you could lose your driver’s license. Call any mall, restaurant, bus company or airline in any of the 17 countries and say that Happy says hello. They all know me or have heard of me. Among my Facebook photos you will find my certificate in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (1977).
There are many Persons with a Disability in the Philippines who could live a much more and satisfying life if they could be accompanied by a certified Assistance Dog. Blind people, deaf people, people with epilepsy, people with anxiety disorders such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, children with Down's syndrome or any of the Autism Spectrum Disorders. Unfortunately in the Philippines they are denied access with an Assistance Dog even though the Magna Carta for Persons with a Disability explicitly protects their right to live as much of a normal life as possible. The Philippines was one of the first countries to vote in favor of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) on 10 December 1948, the day the UDHR was adopted In Paris. The Philippines is signatory to a number of United Nations human rights treaties, including the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified on 15 April 2008.

How wonderful that so many people of Dumaguete are threatening to separate me from Happy, bash my head in again, and throw me bodily of the country, and are so proud of the reputation of their city of Dumaguete and are upset that I am embarrassing businesses who deny the rights of Access by Persons with a Disability, all because I am championing the rights of citizens of the Philippines that are Persons with a Disability. Philippine Law is Philippine Law is Philippine Law. Claiming ignorance of Philippine Laws is no excuse for not respecting them and abiding by them. They are the laws of the Philippines as well as International Law. Dumaguete is a wonderful place. I love living here. The friendliest people that I have ever met. I plan to stay here until I die. Everyone has my address and my phone numbers, so I’m quite transparent. I can’t be without Happy for one minute, especially after having 4 seizures in 2 days. I will still have to eat in restaurants, go to the bank, to National Bookstore in Robinsons Mall, buy clothes at Lee SuperPlaza, and take the bus. I’ll do my best to keep a low profile and not disturb anyone, but it won’t be easy. I don’t have anything more to say.

Mr Mark Cohen, you are a legend . . . in your own mind. To the rest of us you are an embarrassing individual who never learned to play nice and get along with people. But you write well. Must be years of bullshit behind all that prose.

I will say this to you on the Internet because its where you spout all your propaganda so it is the appropriate place to respond. In real life, if I were to meet you, I would respond politely if you act politely. In short, what goes around comes around. Have a great day!

Mr. Cohen, I was at Lee Plaza when you did your thing, I'm the first to help people that want help, but I watched what you did, and I know you didn't want help from a friend, you only wanted to be a super star. That's why I walked away.

I think that all businesses should welcome Happy, but ban Mr. Cohen.

You wanted to retire in Panama too? Could something have went wrong there that forced you to leave? I wonder what it could have been.

    Hello,
My name is Mark Cohen and I’m from Montreal, Canada.
I would like to retire to Panama to live near Boquete or Bocas del Toro.
I am 56 years old and receive income on fixed investments in Canada. This interest income is $4100 US monthly, and I have been receiving it since 1996.
I am not ready to invest $200,000 in Panama bank certificates, nor am I ready to purchase a house in Panama.
I have a disability that necessitates me having a certified Guide Dog for the Blind which travels everywhere with me.
I have worked as a volunteer in Costa Rica and Nicaragua for a total of 18 months with various animal shelters and have trained dogs to work with people with disabilities.
I would like to apply for extended Tourist Pensionado status and not have to leave Panama every 30 days for a 3 day period.
When in Panama I would like to rent a room in a house or share a house with someone for a minimum 6 month period.
I would also like to buy a used car.
    Do you have any suggestions?"

How about Ecuador: So you do this for free huh? Wonder why you had to move to a new home. p*ss off some people down there?

This is over 100 pesos. And this young lady talking has the best English I have ever heard from a Filipina. Obviously a very educated young lady having to deal with his nonsense. And he pretty much begs to be arrested. He wants to be a martyr. Nobody said they were a judge or that he would be deported. The locals have been extremely patient with him.....more than I thought they would be.

Hello from Cali fellers, long time no see..
But believe it or not, the YouTube video of this nut in front of Robinsons has somehow gotten some traction and just yesterday in a San Diego grocery store, I heard a lady talking about the way PWD are kicked out of places in the Philippines for having their trained dog accompanying them.

This is surreal, this idiot is being taken way too seriously, and its obvious from the audio in that previously posted video that he's a complete flake.
