Some Sari Sari's are taking the P..SS ! Making unfair profits from poor customers.

Good answer/explanation Wrye , I think JP's original post was the frustration that the end seller ,
sari sari store had just started applying the xtra cost to their customers without warning .
And there should be a realistic minimum purchase on a load , php10 etc is just not viable ,
the Philippines is the text capital of the world , I just farted , my back is itchy , I am so hungry ,
they use it like the rest of the world uses twitter , ugh, senselessly and just because it is there.
Your last explanation is a good summary of the reality of it .

I have noticed that a lot of Filipinos use their phones for facebook all day as well now ,
with the deals that the providers offer , and that will certainly be adding to a hell of a lot of bandwith usage .
My wife is on it all day on her phone here in Oz communicating to family and friends in PI ,
and the people there have no money "but" they "always" have a load . I understand JP's point of view ,
because that is what the kids and desperately poor would be feeling .
They are having something taken away from them that has always been available ,
buying a load that the vendor cannot make a profit on .
But in reality this situation has more than likely been caused by the over usage of tens of millions of others that are just a couple of rungs further up the ladder than where they are , and are able to purchase a deal load and give themselves something to do all day.

 

Why not say this in the First Place instead of the rest of the Crap?

I don't moan, I change Sari Sari store: There are two Sari Sari stores within a short distance of aking Asawa's house. I would walk to one to buy "sticks" (cigs). One day I asked a helper to paki go buy a pack for me. When she returned I ask magkano? She said 25 Sir, I had been paying 30. I gave her 10peso for going for me. I never bought another item from that store. Down the street was another store, they charged me the same as they would a Filipino.....guess who has my business?
