One thing I am really missing at Christmas is Real Cake and Puddings. I know it is still only September but these things take time. My wife is a brilliant cook but Baking is not in her sphere of perfection. ( I'm dead if she reads this.) Added to that, the kitchen is not finished yet for at least a month. Do we have a Lady DI member or the Wife of a member that can make what I call a proper Christmas cake and Puddings? Hey! even one or two of the Guys maybe. I am no cook at all ( Oh! Well may be on a Survival Basis only) I found a recipe or two and put a link I think it is fairly comprehensive of what I am looking for. Anyone out there care to have a look and see if it can be Done?
