Had a very nice lunch at Taco Tayo, met the owner and staff, I live on the other side of town but I will definitely go again...

 

Cat's Acacia Cafe Dauin
An American and his filipina wife just opened a tasty little cafe on the mountain side of the highway in Dauin Market next to the huge Acacia tree. Great curry fish and curry chicken plus burgers, chicken cordon bleau, sandwiches, etc. Everything cooked fresh.

 

New Awesome cheese cake and resto bar Grand opening Friday 19 Sep , where Pirates was on the boulevard, I hear this guy has proper homemade cheese cake, Ausie bacon and an imported coffee. Good luck to this new business.

 

I heard his cheesecake is to die for. Was told the grand opening is 5 or 6 p.m. Friday....anybody know for sure?

update grand opening is 6pm tonight, live band 7pm drinks at happy hour prices all night

 

Both Cat's Cafe in Dauin and La Fiesta in San Miguel have great chicken curry, both a little different from each other. Any other curry recommendations?
