If you had lived here 10 years with only boxed UHT milk available, you would LOVE Norient!

lol, first time I found norient I bought the litre bottle and chugged it in one sitting.
    It's definitely good enough.

aaanyways, sorry to derail so bad....I once got my friend to send me a package of Lush products, since Lush isn't in the Philippines yet apparently, and they're the only bath products I swear by......it took NINE MONTHS to get to me, I was amazed when it finally came, and d*mn glad too, it was expensive!

Why on earth does it take so darn long??

Lenny I have used the USPS for shipping "If it fits it ships" multiple times from FL. No way in hell it ever arrived in 9 days. My Asawa knows the Postmaster in Quezon City personally and has him hold the package and text her when it arrives. I have mailed, left the States several weeks later and then I have gone with her to retrieve a week or two after I arrive in Quezon City. Just my experience.

shipping from the Philippines to the USA

Anybody have suggestions (besides DHL) for shipping large heavy boxes back to the USA (around 100lb/ 50kg). It can take up to 2 months... just looking for the cheapest options from Dumaguete to get to the East Coast. Thanks for any help.

two months would be quick these days.. six years ago getting a bbbox here made the trip.. from the east coast to here in the *outbacks* in 4 weeks..then 4 weeks and half.. then price raise..and six weeks..price raise and eight weeks. I shipped 3 boxes from Baltimore to me here in Dumaguete on July 1.. it landed in Manila 3 weeks ago.. still not here..Sept 18..and counting Sept 1 was approx 2 months over 2 weeks ago.

As for the reason I started this thread.. I asked them to ship 2 glasses.. only 2.. very light..I started and they ended the shipment saying that I cancelled it. no way.. I asked to know who said and got a run around.. I did try it 3 times..maybe it was glass..but I lost hope and didnt order it a fourth time.. sounded and looked good but if you dig into it the international shipper they use is famous for f*ckin up almost all the time.
