I was leaving the mall today headed toward Citi Hardware, making a left turn to park, turn signal on, and out of nowhere a motorcycle with three riders slammed into the driver's side of my car nearly taking the mirror off. They all went down as they were traveling very fast. They all got up immediately, mounted the cycle and drove off in a hurry. My wife said that if no one dies or there is blood hit and run is the normal course after a fender bender. We were not very far from a police man and he never came to look at what had just happened. Now I've got a dented fender. Anyone else have experience with these situations?
Just liability. It is not a new car and I did not want to pay for the comprehensive insurance. It is not badly damagd.
Anyone else have experience with these situations? Yes I had the same a few months ago. On advice from a traffic cop I reported this in the police station (what a mess) never heard from them again. Damage appr P 3.000 , also I don't carry a comprehensive insurance. Just bad luck. Maybe next time I'm the one running away or the next hitter in the same place may pay?
I would be absolutely thrilled that they ran off. Glad they didn't hang around and try to get paid for denting your fender.
Count your blessings , you have done well out of it , could have been a whole lot different , getting your fender repaired yourself is a good result , Way better than claims of negligence and demands for money from the other party , even though you were in the right , I don't know the colour of your skin , but if it is white , buy a couple of beers and celebrate your good fortune.
LoL I was thinking the exact same thing! I bet all 3 regretted running off once they came to their senses.
Sounds to me like they were running from something or just the normal driving illegally. Otherwise I'm sure they would have put the blame on you and demand money and 3 hospital checks.
