I've visited their website but I can't find their rates. Do you know? Do you have pics of the resort ?
Paliton Beach Paliton Beach is nice, but it's secluded, and there's really no infrastructure other than a gazebo-like shade area.
Best beaches on Siquijor i'll put a plug in for Sandugan beach, it's on the northeast tip of the island facing Cebu. awesome sunsets over Mt Talinis, tranquil shallow sugar sand beach with a long low tide sandbar that's excellent for strolling or soaking in the warm shallow water.. no public access close but 3 resorts, Kiwi Dive, Islanders Paradise and Casa de la Playa, and a few privately owned rentals. i was staying in a comfy waterfront kitchenette at Islanders for 4 months before i finally broke the trance and moved to negros (what was i thinking?). norm : ))~
Siquijor Update - A Fun Weekend We go to Siquijor often and love it there. Here is an itinerary that some of you might find enjoyable: - Take the ferry form Dgte pier to Siquijor town on Friday morning. check the schedules at the pier for Delta and GL Lines because they are changing often and the internet will not provide accurate information. - Rent a scooter (P250 to P300 per day). We rent from Das Traum at the pier because it is convenient but most of their bikes are in bad shape. - Get lunch and head to San Juan to find a room. We stay at Czar's Place on Friday night; P500 for a fan room with cold water and no TV but be readey for a late, noisy night. It is located less than 2km east of San Juan. - Take an afternoon ride to swim at Cambugahay Falls but be back in San Juan before sunset. - Supper at Castaways on the beach in San Juan (new management). They have good bar food (burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches, chicken fingers, fries, onion rings) at very reasonable prices (P60 to P90) and they also have great sunsets. - Get ready for the live band at Czar's and a night of dancing. This is an average band, similar to what you would find at Whynot, but the outdoor venue attracts easily 500 to 600 people of all ages, foreign and local. Tanduay Pitchers (Zombie, Café Latte, Mango) at P150, you can buy every possible Tanduay product, beer specials, etc and you can rent a table on the lawn in front of the band. Now you know the real reason why I stay at Czar's (don't have to drive drunk!). - Saturday, after brunch, and once the cobwebs clear, jump on the scooter, change resorts (try Paraiso at P500 per night also) and head east past Lazi. Turn off on the costal road and try to find Kagusan Beach (there is a faded sign pointing to the beach). The road has been closed off by the owner (maybe the owner of Bravo Golf Course?) and you will have to walk 0.5km to the shore but it is the nicest beach on the Island (yup, it IS trespassing). Go down the concrete stairs and you will find a series of small, secluded coves with powdery white sand and vistas reminiscent of Thailand or a mini Halong Bay. - Supper - depending on your budget, you might want to go back to Castaways or spend more at Coco Grove or one of the other resorts. - Plan for an evening at Paraiso's Resort 3Km east of San Juan). Be there at 8pm sharp if you want to get a table. They have a band playing some really good but eccentric earthy music mixed with reggae. They are equipped with an abundance of strange instruments ranging from piles of bongo drums, to a bamboo juice harp (don't know the name), a didgeridoo, and other indescribable instruments. The music was really fun so kick off your shoes and join in, but you might want to consider smoking a joint first, haha. They band was accompanied by fire dancers and the owner told me that they plan to continue with the same music every week. - Sunday morning - a late breakfast again, return the scooters and head back to Dumaguete. There are several ferries running but be sure to check the schedules because even the schedules that are posted outside the ticket booths are wrong! I hope you will have as much fun as we did!

Gee. Could you make that any more obvious? And Siquijor is the smallest what? Island? Siquijor is the most famous and visited tourist's {sic} attraction. Where? In the Philippines? The Visayas? In the stretch of water between Dumaguete and Dipolog? Maybe the latter. Say Coconut Grove Beach Resort three times while looking in the mirror exactly at midnight and the spam monster won't ban you. I think they should consider hiring a promoter that can actually speak English.
here is a list of the main tourist Visaya islands in order, by area, with the largest first (not a totally exhaustive list).: Biliran Siargao Camiguin Panglao Siquijor Bantayan Malapascua Camotes iis difficult to class because the two main islands are often thought of as one unit however each of them are smaller than Siquijor. getting a motorbike on that Montenegro ferry, I did it once but it was quite expensive and a hassle getting it up the gangplank. If I was just going to Siquijor fromj Dumaguete I'd rent a motor there where they are among the least expensive to rent you will find anywhere in the country. I had to bring mine on to Siquijor because I was going from Larena to Plaridel, Mindanao afterwards with the motorbike.
