He entered the Navy at the tender age of 43 and now they toss him aside just because he was using drugs. Who knew???? Well maybe he did use drugs earlier in his life but not now. Well at least he has his job investing people's retirement money to fall back on. Nothing new there: Mar 31, 2009 - The daughter of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was at the centre of a storm last night after allegedly being caught on tape taking cocaine. I'm thinking the apples did not fall far from the tree.
They know how to party. Every time I see Biden speak it looks like he has just done a couple lines.......or is recovering from doing a gram the night before.
I've done some pretty stupid things in my life....and even some pretty stupid things while in the military. This guy is a politicians son, 40+ years old and an officer in the US Navy. He really should have known better. What he did was a mistake you could understand if it came from an 18-25 year old new recruit....NOT the vice president's son. It really shows something about his personality and judgement.
My guess is that he has had this problem for many years as indicated in the article. Pappa Joe thought the military might be able to fix this problem for him so he used his power as VP to get him in although he was well past the age, got him appointed to a position where only 6 officers each year are accepted, got an exception to his past drug use in order to get in. This is just another typical abuse of power by politicians that are supposed to be civil "servants" and not manipulators of the system for their own private gain.
Joe obviously spent some time getting this done while ignoring the ongoing plight of a Marine in a Mexico jail.
