    I do not envy their jobs one bit. This is a very interesting article about the people (many of them Filipinos) who moderate for social media companies.

    From what I read they get paid about as much as a call center job.

    As for profits: Money is a powerful motivator for a lot of people......and someone does have to do the job or social media would be nothing but smut and snuff pictures.

    Yeah, it can get pretty annoying, but you shouldn't get updates from people you didn't add on Facebook or Twitter. I really only open Facebook when I go to update the DI page, every now and then I'll throw something on my personal Facebook page. Use that more for private messaging.

    I have never watched a Snuff video, any of the beheading videos, if I see gore I AM OUTTA THERE! If I suspect there is something bad I refuse to open it... When I first went online around 1996 a mate introduced me to gore.com I think it was called? I was stuck at his house with no way to get home surrounded by a half a dozen guys who became all the more excited the worse the gore got! I couldn't wait to get out of there!
