Family members were in the area when this happened: A +30yo Filipino guy living along the highway in an unnamed NegOr province hacked his grandmother in the neck with a bolo Tuesday morning. - She is unable to walk and couldn't run away. Police arrived and after a discussion with the family, it's decided the problem should just be taken care of there and then. The police instruct neighbors to stay in their homes, and with the family's permission-hunt down and shoot to kill the suspect. End of problem Grandma died a day later from her wounds.
I bet 10p he was a shabu addict. I bet another 10p that's what's happening every second week or so in the city in drug related shootings..
There are many things in this country I like or dislike but the way PNP solved this problem I do like. Wish police in my home country should act accordingly, will save a lot of hassle with lawyers, judges etc.
Being caught in the act should warrant an on the spot punishment. But then again, if that were always allowed here you would have many people claiming the guy with the thick wallet broke the law and demand financial compensation.
